Milos Jesenak is Professor at the Comenius University in Bratislava, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin. During his 20-years carrier, he specialized in pediatrics, clinical immunology and allergology and pediatric pulmonology. He finished his PhD. thesis at the University La Sapienza in Rome (Italy). Currently, he is the head of Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergology in the University Hospital in Martin, Slovakia. His main field of interests are rare diseases of immune system (inborn errors of immunity, autoinflammatory disorders and periodic fever syndromes, hereditary angioedema), allergic disorders of respiratory system (especially severe and refractory forms) and vaccination in special situations. He is the author of more than 300 scientific papers and books mainly focused on inborn errors of immunity, bronchial asthma, allergen immunotherapy and vaccination. Up to now, he presented more than 900 lectures at the national and international meetings and congresses. He is a president of Slovak Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology and the member of several scientific societies (e.g., EAACI, ERS, ATS, AAAAAI – status of international fellow - FAAAAI, ESID, ESPID, Chest, SSAKI, CSAKI).
